By Air: The two most convenient airports are Ronchi Dei Legionnaire
near Trieste and Marco Polo of
Venice. Both airports are well served but the most frequented is Marco Polo. Air Transat operates out of Montreal and Toronto with direct flights to Venice and Rome. Driving from Rome takes about 7.5 hours. Once you land in Trieste or Venice, make your way north towards Cividale del Friuli via Udine. Once in Cividale, travel towards Savogna on highway SS54. It's a twisty-turny mountain pass that takes you up to Masseris so take your time and enjoy the scenery!
